I wanted the pianist and his reflection to be the stars of the photo. The back was busy and light and distracting really. So the idea is to darken (or in the old film days: burn) the background (technically I could erase them but I try to stay away from that type of processing). //
Je voulais que le pianiste et sa réflexion soient les stars de l’image. Derrière cependant était trop occupé et éclaircie. Trop de distraction. Ma solution est de noircir la zone (burn si je travaillais avec un agrandisseur film analogue). (Pour être honnête si j’aurais voulu j’aurais pu les faire disparaître facilement avec l’ordinateur mais je essais de m’éloigner le plus possible de ce genre d’édition),
