The workflow

Some people might call me weird, but I think the fall with all its colours is the best time to find my inner Ansel Adams, the best black-and-white photography of the year. It’s all about that glorious autumn light that leaves its rays of sunshine but also deep shadows right next to it. But what better way to explore that light and forget about everything else (i.e. colours that distracts you from it).

With Ansel Adams comes the zone system with most of all the deepest black and an array of grays in the sunshine.  //

Certaines personnes pourraient me trouver bizarre, mais je pense que l'automne avec toutes ses couleurs est le meilleur moment de l’année pour m’inspirer par Ansel Adams en noir et blanc. C’est à cause de cette glorieuse lumière d'automne qui laisse des rayons de soleil mais aussi des ombres profondes juste à côté. Mais quoi de mieux pour explorer cette lumière et oublier tout le reste (i.e. couleurs qui vous en distrait).

Avec Ansel Adams vient le système de zone avec surtout le noir le plus profond et un éventail de gris au soleil. C’est le but ici.

A very quick shot, he just jumped out of nowhere and I I had to move quick forgoing the focus a little, but I’m always is a hypo focal mode anyway. The road line gives structure to the image. The decisive moment. //

Price tres vite, il est arrivé par surprise, pour le focus, j’ai toujours mes objectifs en mode hyper focal de toute façon. La ligne du chemin aide à mettre de l’ordre sur l’image. Image à la sauvette.
