Taken at the Royal Mount Commercial centre. Needed to emphasize the light and architecture from above with some retouch and some contrasty black and white. //
Prise au Centre commercial Royal Mount. J’avais besoin d’amplifier la lumière et l’architecture du haut avec bien sur quelques retouches et un noir et blanc bien contrasté.

On Saint-Denis street during the graphic novel festival. I liked how the scene developed starting at the resting man to the couple to the lone figures in the back. Summicron 35mm. //

Along the railroad tracks in Rosemont There’s a lot of sculptures and installations, so I used the arts to focus on the path. With the 50 mm voightlander still.
À Rosemont le long de la track de train il y a beaucoup d’installations, de sculptures et j’en ai profité pour mettre le focus sur la voie. Avec la 50mm voightlander encore.
Before and after: a little cropping and straightening, a little structure addition, opening up the shadows while darkening the sky. Punch the colours a little. On Lightroom and Nik Color Efex. //
Avant et apres: Encadrer légerement, plus de details de mere et fille, ouvrir les ombres tout en assombrissement le ciel. Augmenter les couleurs un peu. Dans Lightroom et Nik Color Efex.
Contrast is another way to produce an interesting picture with either litteral contrast i.e. the stark difference in colour and/or tones. Or metaphorical contrast like here with the man in miserable winter weather next to the advert of the woman in a paradise vacation. //
Le contraste est une autre façon de produire une image intéressante avec soit le contraste littéralement, c'est-à-dire la forte différence de couleurs et/ou de tons. Ou un contraste en tant que métaphore comme ici avec l'homme dans un temps hivernal misérable près la publicité de la femme en vacances au paradis.
